The Write Stuff 2018 Bundle - Curated by Kristine Kathryn Rusch
I am so excited about this year's spring writing bundle. Out of all of the nonfiction bundles I've compiled, this one has the largest number of books that appeal to me. I've been writing and publishing for a long, long, long time. Sometimes I feel like no one can teach me anything about writing. So, in the past, when I've compiled these bundles, I did my best to make bundles that would help all kinds of writers.
This year, that includes writers like me.
In this bundle you'll find ten different writing products. They have a lot to teach you. If you're just noodling around with the idea of writing, then Blaze Ward's Three-Act Structure For Professional Writers will help you a lot. Dean Wesley Smith's How To Write A Book in Five Days While Traveling will nuke any excuse you come up with to avoid writing. And WMG Publishing's lecture on Heinlein's Rules will open your eyes to the truths about writing that have been part of the business for decades now.
Tonya D. Price's book Completing Your Writer's To-Do List will help you organize, and will make you more efficient. M.L. Buchman's Estate Planning For Authors will help you set up your writing business so that you can leave it to your family without causing them extra grief.
For those of you who have already published books, whether just a few or quite a lot, the remaining books on this list will help you with the business of publishing. David H. Hendrickson's How to Get Your Book Into Schools and Double Your Income with Volume Sales does exactly what the title says. For me, that book is less about doubling income and more about reaching the next generation of readers. Leah Cutter's Business Planning For the Professional Publisher dovetails nicely with my Creating Your Author Brand and Maggie Lynch's Secrets to Effective Author Marketing. All three of these books will help you build your publishing business the right way.
We also have a bonus course, one designed to take over thirty days. Writer Steven Barnes, who is also a renowned life coach, will help you integrate all of the learning from the other books by becoming more efficient, more creative, and…a big one for me…calmer. Steve is all about improving not just writing and business, but your quality of life. And this course will help you start that journey.
In addition, we're going to try to improve the quality of life for people we've never even met. If you feel so inclined, you can give a portion of your fee to our charity, AbleGamers. AbleGamers makes it possible for people with disabilities to participate in the world of online gaming, by providing everything from equipment personalized for each person's needs to advice to the game developers on how to make their entertainment accessible. Online gaming isn't just about relaxation and fun. It also provides support and a large community for players, and is especially important to people who are house- or bedbound. So, please, give a few dollars to AbleGamers as you pick up all of this knowledge for yourself.
Speaking of price, the lecture and course alone would cost you over a hundred dollars if you bought them separately. You can get those, plus eight books for as little as $15.
As I've said, this bundle excites me a great deal. You'll find a lot of learning here, not just for writing and publishing, but also for enjoying life.
What a great way to segue into summer. I hope the bundle thrills you as much as it thrills me. Pick up yours now—and thanks! – Kristine Kathryn Rusch
